The Seeing Things Differently project started out with problems about light. These worksheets gave me a clear guide of what to look for when I'm researching light. While we were completing the light problems we kept a Seeing Things Differently math portfolio for 8 weeks during the entire project. In the portfolio we wrote about what we were doing that week.
After the worksheets were completed we began the building part of the unit by creating an initial product proposal for an optical device we wanted to build. After that we were put into groups and had to make a final group proposal. Me and my group ended up building a refractor telescope with it's own stand and an adjustable eye piece.
